Jessica Satterfield partnering with heaven a cup full of hope

Jessica Satterfield has been wrecked by the love of a beautiful Father. She has known the intimacy of Papa God in the midst of the heartbreak of abuse, infertility, and child loss. Because she’s known Him in the fellowship of His sufferings, she’s also known Him in the power of His resurrection. She writes on her popular blog, Grace While We Wait, and is the author of, Partnering With Heaven, her first book. She is the founder of a ministry called The Garden, which connects women on the broken road to motherhood to the Healer. She is a cohost with a few of her friends, on a YouTube show and podcast called Grace and Truth, where they connect real women to wholehearted life in God. Wife to her life-crush, Brandon, and mama to four (one who now lives with Jesus) through the miracle of adoption and a miracle in her womb. Her days aren’t busy, but rather, full, the very best kind. You can find her curled up on the couch with good coffee and her family or speaking to groups of women all over the nation. Both are amazing, but home is where her heart is.

Tune in to this episode as Jessica shares about her grief journey, her fertility journey, what it looks like to wait well and her new book, Partnering With Heaven.

Grief

  • Grief doesn’t diminish over time.
  • The grief stays the same, but we learn to live around the grief.
  • You have to get to the place where you surrender your right to understand.
  • God weeps with us.
  • You can’t rationalize what happened. You can ask all the questions, but you will end up in a never-ending cycle of questioning.

To the Woman Still Waiting….

  • Everything is true about God.
  • Praising God after you get the breakthrough is easy and anyone can do that. It takes no sacrifice.
  • Greater intimacy comes when you can stand in faith and say “I believe that you are good and you are true to your word” even when you don’t see it.

Stewarding the Waiting Season Well

  • Praise God before your breakthrough/miracle comes.
  • God is the gift. There is nothing that can satisfy the longings of our heart like Him.
  • We were made to be satisfied by Him.
  • In the waiting, He is just as much the gift. He is there and He waits with you. He grieves with you and He comforts you.
  • Recognize that you already have your hearts greatest longing before the promise is fulfilled.

Partnering with Heaven

  • Father God is the greatest gift and greatest love of my life.
  • We can use medicine and partner with heaven for healing.
  • The only thing that intercession is, is listening to what Jesus, the great intercessor is already praying and agreeing with Him.
  • Hebrews 4:12 The two edges of the double-edged sword is the Word of God moving out from His mouth and our mouths agreeing with the Word.
