199. Encouragement Through Prayer
Today’s episode is filled with hope-filled prayer! From praying for physical healing to heart healing and everything in between, prepare your heart to receive everything the Father has for you in this episode.
John 14:12-14 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”
John 16:23 “At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.”
Matthew 7:7 ““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
James 1:5-8 “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.”
Psalm 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.”
Psalm 103:10 “He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.”
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
Psalm 91:2 “This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust him.”
1 John 4:18 “Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.”
Psalm 4:8 “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.”
Matthew 5:14 ““You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.”
- There is power in prayer!
- Jesus tells us that we will do greater works on Earth than Him!
- We can ask for anything in Jesus’ name and we will receive it!
- Jesus tell us to ask the Father directly and use Jesus name.
- When we pray, we must posture our hearts to receive.
- We pray according to God’s Word and we should receive answers to prayer!
