212. Barriers to Breakthrough // Part 3: Overcoming Offenses & Unforgiveness

All of us are designed for breakthrough. But then why don’t we experience it? Why do prayers go unanswered? Why do miracles not happen? This series explores the various ways we limit God and the barriers that prevent God’s Word from coming to pass. Join us for part 3 of our series, where we delve into our third barrier: offenses and unforgiveness.

Bible Verses

Luke 17:1, NKJV: “Then He said to the disciples, ‘It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!”

Matthew 11:6: “Blessed is the one who is not offended by me.”

Matthew 10:8, NIV: “Freely you have received; freely give.”

Matthew 6:14-15: “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

Colossians 3:13: “Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”

Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

Romans 5: 6-8: “When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”

Mark 11:25: “But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”
