Proverbs 6:16-19 – “There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.”

Social & Personal Life
✅ Do you have friends who are not Christians? How do you navigate those relationships?
Yes. However, this looks different in different seasons. Their inner circle and closest friends are people who are Christians.
You are to be a light in those situations, and you are to love them well. Honor and respect them. Don’t be surprised when a lost person sins.
Guard your heart. The people you share your heart with should be people who are running after Jesus. Boundaries are important. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.
✅ Do you have friends who have different political beliefs than you? How do you navigate those relationships?
Yes, they have friends and family members who have different political beliefs.
Navigate these relationships with love and treat them with respect and honor.
We don’t all need to agree, but we do all need to respect one another’s opinions and speak truth in love.
Be willing to listen to other people’s perspectives.
Ministry & MITM/DITM
✅ Are you and Colby ordained?
Yes! Caroline and Colby are both ordained by a large church, and they are part of a leadership network within that church.
✅Will there be a Dads in the Making conference anytime soon?
A conference is not in the near future but would more likely be a DITM retreat for leaders and members.
✅ Are there any babies named after you or Colby in the MITM/DITM community? If so, what an honor and blessing!
Not that they know of but that would be a high honor!
Marriage & Relationships
✅ “How do you handle things biblically when the other spouse is defensive and argumentative?
This specific question addresses someone whose spouse is not a believer at all. Live your Christian life in faith as an example to the unbelieving spouse.
Be spirit led and be patient and loving as you live out your faith in front of them as an example.
If there is any verbal abuse attached to this, there would be a greater concern about this situation. Abuse is not okay.
It is the Holy Spirit’s job to bring people to repentance.
Faith & Spiritual Struggles
✅ I loved your boldness about encouraging people to vote based on Biblical values for the election. I would love to be that bold but fear what people might say or think. What would be your advice on become more bold?
The fear of man is people pleasing. We should have a higher value for what God thinks about a situation.
One of the things that pleases God the most is the salvation of souls.
One way to increase boldness is feasting on the Word of God and having a hunger and desire for it.
Separate yourself from the world and don’t let it distract you.
If there is a relationship that suffers because of boldness, God will bring people into your life to fulfill those relationships.
Boldness is not the absence of fear.
✅ Been a silent follower for a bit. I was raised evangelical, and I’ve seen a lot of people have a crisis of faith when God does not answer their prayers. I don’t know how to word this, but realistically, do you still believe God is good if you never get pregnant?
Hypothetical questions are forcing us to imagine an awful scenario.
This question is rooted in unbelief.
Yes, God is always good. God also answers prayers and God does not fail.
Colby and Caroline have been through many hardships but every time they have rooted themselves to the firm foundation of God’s Word and they have stood firm in God’s goodness.
If you’re struggling to believe God’s Word will come to pass in your life, get to the root of it.
Abortion & Reproductive Issues
✅ How can you support abortion when women get pregnant through rape?
Every baby has value. It doesn’t matter how they were born. A baby conceived through rape or sexual assault is not less important.
People who are pro abortion never talk about the trauma women experience after they have an abortion.
✅ How do you abortion bans when women in your own state are dying from the miscarriages of their very wanted babies as a direct result of these rulings?
It is appalling that people put abortion and miscarriage in the same category.
There is no way that you can say a woman experiencing a miscarriage of a baby she loves and longs to carry to full term is the same thing as a woman who intentionally murders her own child.
Woman do die from lack of medical attention or malpractice, but it is not a direct result from abortion bans.
If you are someone who has had an abortion, there is forgiveness and there is freedom.
