Updates

• Jessica is now homeschooling her 4 children.
• Jessica has 3 adopted children. Selah, Micah and Zion (who is in Heaven). She also has 3 miracle babies, Eden (2 years old), Aida (3 years old) and she is (at the time of recording) 37 weeks pregnant.
• Jessica went through IVF to conceive Aida. She had 2 embryos left and decided to transfer them after her youngest daughter, Eden’s 1^st
• She miscarried those twin embryos. The miscarriage was devastating emotionally but it was also painful in her body.
• The very next month, she was spontaneously pregnant!

Home Church

• 18 months ago, Jessica and her husband left their abusive church and went through a season of healing.
• During that time, they hosted “Home Group” at their home.
• Jessica and her husband are very passionate about discipleship, and they soon realized their “Home Group” was actually just church.
• In January 2023 Jessica and her husband said “yes!“ to becoming pastors.
• They have 50-60 people who meet for church in their house every other Sunday.
• They have had many testimonies of people getting saved and filled with the Holy Spirit at their Home Church.
• Their heart is to be like the Acts 2 church where the entire body of Christ was working together and operating in their gifts, and everybody has a role to play.
• Brandon and Jessica have a calling to disciple others and be a Father and Mother of the faith, not just teachers of the Word.

The Role of the Church

• The role of the church is to equip and teach the saints of the Most High God.
• The church should be equipping saints through discipleship so they can operate in their spiritual gifts.
• The church is not a building, the church is the people.
• Jesus came that everyone could walk freely into the throne room of grace.

Unhealthy Churches

• So many churches have pastors who are being exposed for hidden sin, abuse and manipulation.
• Pastors are anointed and gifted and God doesn’t take away the gift, but these anointed people are put on a stage way before their hearts are healthy enough to handle it.
• On the outside we see charismatic gifts, but what’s lacking is the spiritual and emotional health to hold the weight of the gifting.
• Church members are using these pastors for their gifts (prophetic words, etc.) and they build up a dependency on the pastor.
• Some pastors put themselves as the source/the High Priest instead of Jesus.

Revival

• There is a revival that is around the corner.
• There is an end time harvest that is coming.
• Revival is messy.
• What happens when revival comes and there is not a structure in place to hold it?
• There must be structures in place to keep it going so it won’t fizzle away.
• Once people come to the know the Lord, what is next? They must be discipled!
• There must be a capacity to hold what God is wanting to do.

How Do I Know God?

• They have to taste and see and once they taste and see for themselves, there is no going back.
• You encounter the real thing and you know that it’s the real thing.
• Whenever you get a taste of Him, you know the real thing.
• Keep asking Him “do I really know the real you?”
• God wants to reveal His heart to us and He wants you to encounter His presence more than you even do.
• When you seek Him, you’ll find Him.
