What is Inner Healing?

  • Inner healing is the healing of that which is “inner” or inside.
  • We are spirit beings, and we have a soul, spirit and body.
  • Inner healing is the idea that we can have bruises or hurts on part of us that are unseen.
  • Healing is who God is and what He does.
  • Jesus covered every type of healing by His death on the cross.
  • Inner healing is the healing of your soul.

Inner Healing vs. Counseling/Therapy

  • In counseling and therapy, the emphasis is on the audience with the therapist and our pain.
  • Counseling and therapy gives us the tools to navigate through life.
  • Our brain can be rewired through therapy, and it is very valuable.
  • Inner healing is facilitating an audience with God and our pain.
  • Inner healing is more focused on prayer, forgiveness, taking responsibility and repentance.
  • Inner healing is us responding to God.
  • Inner healing, counseling and therapy all have their place and we need them all in the kingdom of God.

How Do I Know if I Need Inner Healing?

  • If you feel stuck in an area and you can’t find freedom.
  • If you are blindsided by something in your life that has created shock and disorientation.
  • If you notice patterns of unhealthy behavior in yourself.
  • If you are constantly feeling “triggered”, bitter, jealous, etc.
  • Are there unhealthy generational patterns that you notice in your family?
  • Our soul gives us warning signals that you have pain that needs addressed.
  • Inner healing is for everyone! You don’t have to be at rock bottom to seek inner healing.

The Role of Inner Healing

  • Inner healing deals a lot with forgiveness and releasing people.
  • Inner healing helps us connect the dots as to why you have issues or unhealthy relationships and how to get freedom and forgive others.
  • Inner healing helps to stop generational patterns.
  • Inner healing reveals the spiritual roots.

What Does Inner Healing Look Like?

  • You will fill out paperwork beforehand to identify the main areas that will be discussed in the session.
  • The session is usually 3 hours long.
  • RTF (Restoring the Foundations) provides trained ministers to walk you through inner healing.
  • RTF always has 2 minsters in each session. Sessions can be in person or through zoom.
  • The minsters, led by the Holy Spirit, will then walk you through the 4 ministry areas (generational, lies, past wounds and freedom).
  • Everyone involved in the inner healing session will sign a waiver of confidentiality.

Restoring the Foundation

  • Jesus is the only foundation, rock and cornerstone.
  • God wants to restore us and every area of our lives.
  • Going through inner healing you’re restoring the foundation of which your life is built upon.
