258. Jessica Satterfield // Connecting to the Father’s Heart
In this episode, Jessica Satterfield shares how everything in life flows from being connected to the Father’s heart. When we’re disconnected, we strive, perform, and look elsewhere for joy, but true rest comes from intimacy with God. In this episode you’ll learn how to recognize signs of disconnection, feel safe in His presence, and engage in simple ways to draw close to Him daily.
Bible Verses:
Psalm 16:2 “I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”
Song of Solomon 2:9 “My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Look! There he stands behind our wall, gazing through the windows, peering through the lattice.”
1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
John 15:7 “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”
John 16:33 ““I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
