Striving

  • When you are working in order to get a result, that is striving.
  • Why would you work for something that is already paid for by Jesus?
  • Jesus died so that you can be healed.
  • Striving is all about control.
  • We can work really hard in the soul realm and it’s an exchange (if I do this, then this will happen…).
  • We have to operate from the finished work on the cross and the truth of what the Word says regardless of what we’re experiencing.

Practical Steps to Pursue Healing

  • Our belief systems are important.
  • We must tether our belief systems to the truth in God’s Word.
  • Share testimonies of hope.
  • Celebrate and share any measure of improvement or breakthrough in your health.
  • Renew your mind.
  • Our physical body will come into alignment with our belief systems.
  • Get around people who will believe with you!
  • Don’t isolate yourself.
  • There is a stewardship around your health.
  • Take micro steps.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to help and ask Him to give you what you need to know for today.
  • There is a responsibility for us to steward our bodies well by eating healthy foods and drinking water.
  • Only the Holy Spirit knows what our bodies need.
  • Take communion.

Wholeness

  • Wholeness is God’s desire for all of our lives.
  • It’s important to open up our ears and hearts to truths that we may not have yet encountered.
  • Stay connected to community and accountability.
  • God’s desire is for us to have a direct relationship with Him.
  • We all have the ability to hear from God.
  • Be in God’s Word as much as you can.
  • God’s heart is to see you well and whole.
  • Do not underestimate the power of prayer.
